It developed an automated system integrating IVUS and angiography data to create 3D artery models. The project focused on developing a CFD model for the deNOx process in a Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) regenerator to reduce NOx emissions. Simtec used Ansys Fluent and Chemkin to simulate gas-solid flow and detailed gas phase reactions, achieving the first successful multiphase CFD simulation of an FCC regenerator with advanced chemistry modeling.
