SIMTEC, due to its continuous expansion of its footprint in Slovenian and Croatian industry, is looking for an Electronics & Systems Simulation Engineer to be based in Ljubljana.

Job summary

Electronics & Systems Simulation Engineer will conduct training sessions and provide technical support to the company’s customers: the leading and most innovative companies of the East European region. He/she will also perform test-cases and demos to support the sales activities. In addition, he/she will contribute to the company’s consulting projects under guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Offer technical support to ANSYS users.
  • Be responsible for technical tasks related to pre-sales opportunities, such as customer meetings with R&D engineers and managers, presentations, demos.
  • Perform simulation test cases.
  • Support evaluation of the software.
  • Train customers on ANSYS MAXWELL, HFSS, SIWAVE, MOTORCAD, TWIN BUILDER, MEDINI.
  • Present Ansys broad portfolio and capabilities during workshops and conferences.
  • Analyse customer technical needs and streamline simulation workflows.
  • Work closely with sales department.
  • Travel in Slovenia and abroad.

Desired Qualifications

  • Electrical or Computer Engineering or Physics or similar degree.
  • Excellent command of Slovenian and English. Croatian will be considered a plus.
  • Understanding of the below applications:
    • Electromechanical: Electric Machines, Transformers, Cables, Sensors.
    • High Frequency: PCBs, RF, Antennas, Filters, ICs.
    • System simulations and Reduced Order Models.
  • At least 2 years of working experience on electronics & electromagnetics simulation, preferably with Ansys.
