SIMTEC was founded in 2001 and since its establishment in Thessaloniki, it has been a pioneer in the field of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), introducing simulation to South-East Europe. Back in 2001 only few industrial companies utilized simulation tools to aid their design process. Creating and validating the virtual prototype of a product had been perceived as an excessive luxury. Throughout the last two decades, SIMTEC engineers accomplished to convert this perception to today’s view of simulation software as an indispensable tool for design and optimization.
